In 1986, a small group of caring individuals in Bardoli looked at their community and saw children being denied the most basic opportunity in life: education. Moved by this reality, members of the Bardoli Student Union came together to create what would become Bardoli Madresa High School. It began with just seven students in a modest rented madresa building, but it carried a powerful purpose: to ensure that no child would be left behind simply because of their circumstances.
What followed was a remarkable story of faith, generosity, and community spirit. Through the grace of Almighty Allah, and through the tireless efforts and financial sacrifices of supporters both in India and abroad, the school grew far beyond its humble beginnings. By 1994, a purpose-built Gujarati‑medium school building stood proudly in its place—complete with 30 classrooms, a computer lab, a science lab, a spacious library, and dedicated offices .
For families in Bardoli, this school is more than a building. It is a lifeline. It is a pathway out of hardship. It is a place where children who once had no access to education can now dream of becoming teachers, engineers, doctors, and leaders.
For supporters in the UK, your contributions continue this legacy. Every donation helps keep the doors open for children who rely on this school for their future. Every pound you give strengthens a community that has worked for decades to uplift its most vulnerable members. And every act of generosity becomes part of a story that began with seven students—and now touches hundreds of young lives each year.
